iPad, iPhone, iCandy?
I am just not too sure about the new iPad thingy from apple, I own an iPhone and it is great (so I’m not an anti apple type). But the things that drive me mad about the phone (multitasking) will be carried over into this device and that may be it’s downfall.
I think that apple haven’t been far sighted enough, they (IMHO) should have looked beyond the ‘big browser’ featureline and perhaps thought of the device as a method of providing a slim OSX platform.
A true multi-tasking tablet, running Apples own operating system would really entice me to buy, especially if I could install the same robust software which inhabits my desktop; imagine photoshop with a responsive touch screen?
We will have to see what the app developers make of this jumbo offering before the iPad settles into its niche.
